Watch for book signing events near you and stop by to meet mystery author
R. Michael Phillips.

R. Michael Phillips is a classically trained artist who has been painting for over 30 years. He has done numerous commissions, illustrations for national products and co-authored and illustrated a children's book. Writing was always something he enjoyed doing, but never had the opportunity to pursue seriously until recently. By combining his creative talents with his passion for art and antiquities, he conceived the fictional world of the East London Adventurers Club. His first mystery, “Along Came A Fifer” is the result of these efforts and is the first book in the Ernie Bisquets Mystery Series. He’s just finished the next mystery in this series- “Rook, Rhyme & Sinker”, which should be released Fall 2010.
His first mystery in the series, Along Came A Fifer, was published by Asylett Press in July 2009. Look for it on-line, ask for it at your local bookshop, or stop by one of the events for a signed copy!

Be sure to ask about the next mystery in the Ernie Bisquets Mystery series-
Rook, Rhyme & Sinker.

A Taste Of Britain - Eagle Village Shops

A great time was had by all! Thanks so much again to Sarah and everyone at A Taste Of Britain Tea House.

School and Group Presentations
Ask about a FREE Group or School Presentation within a 75-mile radius to Michael’s home in Southeastern Pennsylvania. The presentation is approximately 45 minutes in length and includes an artist and author background talk, the fundamentals for preparing to write your novel, manuscript presentation and the importance of writing a great query. A great deal of emphasis is put on setting goals and not being discouraged by the rejection letters every author encounters. The submission of a manuscript is something that is continually refined as you go through the process. Taking the criticism constructively and acting upon it will serve to improve what we have set out to accomplish.
The original oil painting Michael painted and used for the cover of "Along Came A Fifer" will be on display, accompanied by an explanation of how the mystery novel evolved from it. The presentation will be concluded with a question and answer session. Copies of the book will be available for purchase at a reduced price.
Please contact him at rmpbook@aol.com for details, dates and an outline of the presentation.

Presentations outside of a 75-mile radius to Michael’s home in Southeastern Pennsylvania are also possible. Contact him for pricing.
